Founder weekly review template
Turn a week of customer calls, team meetings, and loose commitments into a short plan for Monday. Start with evidence, then choose what changes.

Review the week before planning the next one.
A founder's calendar creates plenty of activity. The review should show what changed: a customer need you understand better, a decision the team made, or a commitment that still needs attention.
Open the week's meeting notes and last week's priorities. Keep this to 25 minutes. If a topic needs a longer discussion, put that discussion on the calendar instead of allowing it to consume the review.
Five minutes for each question
What changed?
List settled decisions and the reason each changed. Link to the meeting where it happened so a teammate can recover the context.
What did customers show us?
Look for repeated behavior across named calls. Keep contradictory evidence beside the pattern rather than hiding it in a separate document.
What is still open?
Check commitments, owners, dates, and blockers. Keep an unanswered question separate from a decision the team actually made.
What will we do next?
Choose up to three priorities. Give each one a concrete next action and an owner. Say what you are pausing so the list is believable.
What does Monday need?
Prepare the next conversations with the last decision and unresolved commitment. Send a short team update about what changed and what comes next.

Make the Monday plan concrete
“Improve onboarding” is a theme. “Watch two new customers set up their first meeting and document where they stop” is a next action. An owner should know what to do without another meeting.
Illustrative weekly-review entry
Evidence: two discovery calls described forgetting commitments after back-to-back meetings. One customer already has a workable checklist.
Next action: interview three more founders about their current follow-up routine. Ask for a recent example and the time it took.
Open question: is the pain remembering the commitment, or completing the work? Do not treat that as settled.
Use it with Runa
Use your saved meetings to recover decisions and commitments from the week. Ask about a specific period or topic, then check important claims against the source. Keep the review in a shared tab if the team needs it, or Private while you are working through sensitive decisions.
The final update should fit on a screen: what changed, what is still open, and the three priorities. Link the detail rather than asking everyone to read a week's transcripts.
