Your meetings hold the details that make a useful answer possible: what a customer asked for, why a decision changed, and who committed to what.
Connect Runa to ChatGPT or Claude to bring those details into your next conversation with AI. Search your meetings, prepare for a call, or draft a follow-up using the context you have already captured.
Runa records online and in-person conversations through its desktop app for Mac and Windows, without sending a bot into your call. The connection makes your meeting knowledge available in the assistant you already use.
Start with a question that matters
Your assistant can search accessible meetings, notes, and documents in Runa; read summaries and transcripts; find action items; and look up the people and companies you meet with. Give it a person, topic, or date to start from, and ask for sources when the details matter.
Walk into the next call prepared
Pick up where the last conversation ended. Before a customer call or weekly check-in, ask:
“Use Runa to review my last two meetings with Acme. What commitments are still open, and what should I ask next? Link to the meetings you used.”
Use the brief to revisit an unanswered question, check a commitment, or focus the agenda on what needs a decision.
Write the follow-up while the details are fresh
Turn the conversation into a draft you can review:
“Find my latest meeting with Acme in Runa. Draft a short follow-up with the decisions, owners, and agreed next steps. Keep open questions separate, and don’t add deadlines we didn’t discuss.”
The same context can help you write a project update or a CRM-ready recap. Review the draft, then send or save it through your usual tools.
Trace a decision across meetings
A plan often develops over several conversations. Ask for the progression:
“Review this month’s launch discussions in Runa. What changed, what is settled, and what still needs a decision? Include meeting dates and sources.”
Open the underlying meetings to check the reasoning and wording before sharing the answer with your team.
Connect your assistant
You can start from Settings → Connectors → AI assistants in Runa, or connect directly in your assistant.
ChatGPT
Open Runa in the ChatGPT directory and choose Install plugin.
Connect your Runa account and review the access shown.
Start a chat and ask ChatGPT to use Runa to find a meeting, prepare a brief, or draft a recap.
Claude
Open Customize → Connectors in Claude and choose Add custom connector.
Enter https://mcp.joinruna.com/mcp as the server URL.
Sign in to Runa, review the access shown, and ask Claude to use your meeting context.
On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, a workspace owner adds the connector. Available controls may depend on your plan and workspace settings.
The connection uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that lets AI assistants work with tools and data. Other compatible clients can use the same server address.
Your context, under your control
The connection respects what you can access in Runa and your workspace’s external-AI policy. It can also retrieve live information from supported apps you have connected to Runa, subject to those permissions.
Runa’s connector is read-only. It lets your assistant retrieve, analyze, and draft; it cannot record a meeting, send a message, or change records in Runa or your connected apps. You can revoke access in Runa → Settings → Connectors → AI assistants.
Try it with your latest meeting
Start with one question: “What did we agree to, and what should I do next?” Use the answer to write the follow-up, plan the next conversation, or revisit a decision.
